Fast, Durable Solutions That Offer More Weight Savings

GORE® Shielded Twisted Pair Cables can transfer data and video at speeds up to 1 GHz, tolerating mechanical stresses and environmental factors like changing climate zones, constant vibration and rigorous routing. Smaller than alternative round designs, our cables are more flexible and routable in hard-to-reach places.

Proven Performance

Our cables provide system architects and engineers with many benefits that improve electrical, mechanical and environmental performance such as:

  • reliable differential signals with controlled impedance at 100 ohms
  • dependable twisted shielded pair cable data transfer rate up to 1 GHz
  • endure extreme temperatures, cut-through, vibration, chemicals and more
  • ultralight cable design reduces weight by 60% than leading alternatives
  • improved installation from higher flexibility and tighter bend radius
  • compatible with a variety of leading cable connector systems and backshells

Applications
For Aerospace & Defense

The reliable performance of GORE Shielded Twisted Pair Cables is well-suited for wire and cable harness applications, like:

  • avionics/vetronics digital networks
  • cabin management systems
  • electrical wiring interconnection system (EWIS)
  • Ethernet backbone
  • single-pair Ethernet (SPE) & power over single-pair Ethernet (PoSPE)
  • HD camera/video systems
  • high-density connectors
  • LVDS devices
  • sensor/processor interconnects
  • serial buses

Our cables can also be terminated with a variety of leading shielded twisted pair connector systems and backshells, like ARINC and MIL-STD-38999 with differential Twinax sizes 8 and 22D contacts.

Lightest-in-Class STP Cables

Gore’s Ultralight shielded twisted pair (STP) cables offer the same high-density construction, signal integrity and mechanical reliability as our standard version, but now lighter weight.

This lightest-in-class version offers more system design flexibility and high-speed performance that engineers trust.

Up to 60% lighter

The Ultralight version of our STP cables are designed with a low-profile configuration that’s 60% lighter than leading alternatives and 27% lighter than our standard design.
