Space
As exploration and global connectivity evolve, Gore drives innovation with a trusted heritage and proven reliable solutions to meet industry demands.

Heritage of Flight-Proven, Space-Rated Cable Solutions
Gore has continuously innovated alongside the evolution of spaceflight. In 1962, our products enabled the first U.S. TV satellite to deliver a live transatlantic broadcast. During Apollo 11 in 1969, our cables supported lunar experiments and ensured safe navigation, while our fibers were later incorporated into suits worn by space shuttle crews in 1981. Most recently, our cables were used on the Mars 2020 Perseverance Rover.
As technology advances, Gore remains a trusted partner in delivering durable, low-mass solutions with reliable performance to explore, discover, connect and monitor.

Decades of Partnership & Success
We work with government entities, commercial companies and leading space agencies like the ESA and NASA to ensure the success and safety of every mission. With a 100% success rate, Gore’s products have been used in hundreds of global spaceflight programs, including the International Space Station, James Web Space Telescope and many space shuttles.
