Fast Ethernet Speeds for Data & Video Transfer

Gore’s defense and aerospace Ethernet cables offer several protocol configurations that reliably transmit data and video at high-bandwidth speeds with superior crosstalk and low loss in extreme conditions. Smaller, weight-saving diameters allow flexible routing and tighter bending, ideal for space-constrained applications.

Features & Benefits
Applications
Product Types
Terminations

Equipped for today and prepared for the future, GORE® Ethernet Cables protect against challenging operational conditions, maintenance activities, and environmental factors — essential for defense, aviation and spaceflight system reliability and longevity.

High-Speed Transmission

Capable of transmitting signals up to 40 Gb/s, Gore’s cables deliver unfailing data and video with superior crosstalk and low insertion loss in critical systems and sub-systems.

Superior EMI Shielding

These cables effectively minimize electromagnetic interference (EMI) and improve signal integrity at higher frequencies among electronics, providing better noise immunity and reduced EMI emissions.

Robust Protection

High-density constructions tolerate wide temperature and pressure changes, abrasion, vibration, shock, chemicals, outgassing, radiation, moisture and more over the system lifespan.

Lightweight & Flexible

Featuring compact, highly flexible diameters, these cables make routing easier in tight installation paths while saving significant weight for more cargo and payload.

Thoroughly tested and qualified to meet the most stringent industry standards, GORE Ethernet Cables deliver valued high performance in many military, airborne and space applications.

Gore’s 4-pair Ethernet cable with Cat8 ethernet cable or Cat6A ethernet cable

Cat6A & Cat8 Ethernet Cable (4 Pairs): Our Cat6A version maintains clear data and video transmission at speeds up to 10G BASE-T at lengths up to 80 m (262 ft.). Using our custom-built cable routing simulators, this version delivered proven installed performance where leading competitors failed. Our Cat8 version offers faster speeds up to 40G BASE-T at lengths up to 22 m (72 ft.) without transitioning to a new cabling solution or adding weight.

Image
Cat5e ethernet cable quadrax

Cat5e Ethernet Cable (Quadrax): This version uses dual differential pairs to transmit continuous bi-directional high-speed signals up to 100 MHz at lengths up to 70 m (230 ft.) using size 24 AWG and 50 m (164 ft.) using size 26 AWG. Our cable is roughly 40% smaller and up to 30% lighter than dual twisted pair constructions, making it a reliable substitute to meet higher data rates and weight-saving needs.

Image
2-pair ethernet cable

Cat5e Ethernet Cable (2 Pairs): This cable construction preserves signal integrity and reliably carries high-speed data and video up to 1 GHz on modern digital networks. Consider positioning 2 of our cables side by side to achieve Ethernet 1000BASE-T performance in aircraft and defense land applications.
