Around 20 percent of adults over age 65 suffer from peripheral artery disease, a condition that reduces blood flow and can lead to chronic pain and difficulty walking. A newly approved stent graft from Gore is improving outcomes for those patients with narrowing of the iliac artery, which carries blood from the pelvis to the legs.
