Gore Fuel Cell Technology
Clean buses on the streets of Chengdu
Reliable, quiet and most importantly clean: Since February 2018, hydrogen-powered buses have traveled the streets of Chengdu, the capital of southwestern China’s Sichuan province. As a move toward cleaner energy, Chengdu became a test location for buses that convert hydrogen into electricity, emitting water as the only byproduct thanks in part to Gore's GORE-SELECT® Fuel Cell Membranes.
GORE® Wear Presents First XC Ski Collection
Building the bridge between insulation and breathability
Cross-country skiers tend to move at a brisk pace and know how uncomfortable it can be when their outerwear is too warm. At the same time, they need to be prepared for cold temperatures. The very first GORE® Wear XC ski collection builds a bridge, featuring form-fitting shirts and tights with great freedom of movement - light enough to let sweat escape easily, strong enough to protect against wind and cold.
Gore Space Cables on Board of InSight Lander
Greetings from Mars
Ever since the InSight Mars Lander arrived safely on the red planet in November, not a day has gone by without new photos and reports from afar. Gore’s cables were used as part of the navigation system and are also on board the lander itself, communicating data back to Earth and helping scientists understand the formation and early evolution of rocky planets.
