Unlike other cables qualified in the same class, Type CSC of GORE Space Cables offers features and benefits that guarantee their service life for the entire mission like:

  • cost-effective solution qualified to ESCC 3901/025 specification
  • smaller, lighter design saves significant weight and space
    • up to 29% smaller and up to 19% lighter than ESCC 3901/019 cables
    • up to 10% smaller and up to 21% lighter than ESCC 3901/002 cables
  • robust construction resists ATOX, wide temps, chemicals, cut-through and more
  • reliable 600-Vrms power distribution and analog or low-frequency signal transmission
  • easier installation due to more flexibility and tighter bend radii

Easier & Faster Installation

GORE Space Cables, Type CSC, is frequently used in the following geostationary earth orbit (GEO) applications:

  • analog & low-frequency signals
  • box-to-box transmission
  • power distribution systems

Our cables are used in Europe’s Meteosat Third Generation (MTG) weather satellite. They will also be incorporated into the new configurations for the Euclid space telescope and COSMO-SkyMed earth-observation satellite.
