GORE® Protective Vents Screw-in Series provide:


Rapid Pressure Equalization

Rapidly and responsively equalize pressure differentials to reduce stress on seals and connectors in sealed enclosures. The bidirectional air exchange enabled by these vents can also help reduce condensation.

Reliable Solid and Liquid Contamination Prevention

Reliably keep solid and liquid contaminants from entering the enclosure to protect sensitive electronics, even after the vent has been immersed in liquid.

Added Longevity & Mechanical Stability

These screw-in vents are engineered for chemical, UV and temperature resistance, hydrolytic stability, and flammability resistance. One of our stainless steel vents provide the highest mechanical impact resistance rating: IK10 (IEC 62262); another is IECEx and ATEX certified, for equipment operating in potentially explosive environments.

Easy Installation

These flexible, low-profile vents are easy to install in tight spaces, and won’t compromise the look of the most streamlined enclosure designs.

Oleophobic and Hydrophobic Protection

All screw-in vents include our proprietary GORE Membrane which provides both oleophobic and hydrophobic protection up to IP68 and, for all but our most compact vent, IP69K.

Every Screw-In Series vent undergoes in-line quality inspection at Gore before it is shipped. All vents with M6 and M12 thread sizes are individually laser-marked, to provide full product traceability.
