Overview

High-Speed Data & Video Transfer

Military personnel rely on data and video transferred in a split second to get the necessary information. Also, extreme temperatures, repeated vibration and challenging routing configurations are examples of land and in-vehicle conditions that can cause system and cable failure.

GORE® Quad Cables meet these challenges with specialty versions that offer high data rate transmission and a lighter, more rugged design. Designed for high-speed serial data and video protocols, they offer tighter skew requirements with controlled impedance. Our cables feature dual differential pairs that routinely transfer bi-directional signals at speeds up to 1 GHz at lengths up to 30 meters (100 feet).

Small, Rugged Quadrax Design
Gore’s Reduced Quad Cable Diameter

Reduced cable diameter

We originally invented this low-crosstalk quadrax design that reduces interference for clear, strong signals. Our specialty versions offer a more compact size that’s around 30% smaller than comparable dual twisted pair cables. And, these reduced diameters are up to 40% lighter, which translates to considerable weight savings in vehicles. Being also highly flexible, maintainers can bend our cables tightly for easier routing in space-limited vehicle systems.

But there’s more! We make our cables with remarkably strong materials proven to withstand the environmental challenges and mechanical stresses typical during operations.

With rugged GORE Quad Cables connected to high-speed mission systems, soldiers can receive critical Intel instantly for greater tactical advantage and success.
