With up to 50% less weight compared to many industry-standard high-speed data cables the new High Speed Data Cables for Ultralight Solutions combine exceptional signal integrity, mechanical durability, and reliable performance in a more compact, lightweight design. Since October, customers are able to request samples to evaluate the benefits of Gore’s latest lightweight innovation.
Up to 25% lighter than W. L. Gore & Associates’ existing high-speed data cables, the High Speed Data Cable for Ultralight Solutions variants are designed for OEMs whose platforms demand maximum efficiency, where even small weight savings can have a major impact. Typical applications include defense drones, advanced air mobility (AAM/eVTOL), and rotary or fixed-wing aircraft. Building on decades of proven performance, Gore’s high-speed data cables deliver reliable power, robust signal integrity, flexibility, and longevity.
The new High Speed Data Cables for Ultralight Solutions are available in multiple configurations to meet rigorous industry standards and protocols, including CAT6A ethernet, CAN BUS, and 100 Ohm shielded twisted pair.
