W. L. Gore & Associates (Gore) announced today its new Cat8 ethernet cable for use in aerospace and defense platforms. The new Cat8 ethernet cable allows for four times the high-speed data transmission previously possible. 

W. L. Gore & Associates, Inc. (“Gore”), a global materials science company, continues to build on its growing portfolio of protein capture devices with the introduction of its 250mL, 500mL and 1L GORE® Protein Capture Devices with Protein A. The offerings follow commercial availability of its 116mL and 232mL sizes introduced in mid 2022.

Electrolyte loss during recharging can cause flooded lead-acid battery cells to deteriorate. The new GORE® Catalytic Device recombines hydrogen and oxygen generated within the battery into water, to reduce electrolyte loss and extend battery life.

W. L. Gore & Associates (Gore) announced today the addition of a new European distributor for its aerospace high-speed data cables. A.E. Petsche Company is now an authorized distributor for Gore’s entire selection of cables, including fiber optics, Ethernet, quadrax, HDMI, USB, shielded twisted pair, and more. Gore also offers higher-level cable protection systems and an abrasion-resistant cable jacket for packaging copper wires and cables.

In early 2020, W. L. Gore & Associates (Gore) announced its first carbon reduction goals for the enterprise: a 60% reduction in absolute facility-related carbon emissions by no later than 2030, while working toward carbon neutrality by 2050.
