BARCELONA, Spain (March 8, 2019) – W. L. Gore y Asociados, S.L. (Gore) is once again one of Spain's most attractive employers. In the “Best Workplaces 2019 en España” competition, the technology company was ranked 11 in the 50- 500 employees category. On the employee survey, Gore Spain could compared to the last year improve the results in all categories. Associates particularly emphasized the company’s excellent team spirit and their pride in working for Gore as well as the strongly lived diversity within the organisation. They also made positive mention of the fact that their work was appreciated by management.

The internationally recognized benchmark survey “Best Workplaces en España” is carried out every year by the Great Place to Work Institute. Competition rankings are based on the results of the employee survey, among other things. In addition to the survey, the Institute performs its so-called Culture Audit, an analysis of the measures taken in human resources and leadership.

The Spanish subsidiary of the US multinational W. L. Gore & Associates employs about 135 associates at its Barcelona site. The team there is in charge of the entire product portfolio, including electronics, industrial products, medical products and functional textiles.
