As an automation controls engineer, you can expect to actively participate in the design, installation and support of a wide variety of unique manufacturing machines and processes, as well as facilities infrastructure projects. Typical responsibilities include the selection of control system hardware, instrumentation, machine programming (PLC, Drives, Robotics, etc.), operator interface development (HMI), coordinated motion control (servos, AC and DC drives, hydraulics and pneumatics), project management, specification development, schematic development, machine documentation and data acquisition.
