New Graduates Starting Careers

Get Firsthand Experience Working on Small Teams

Gore Teaser - Alternative Content

As a new college graduate—or a student within 1 year of graduating—you may not have much experience in your field, but your ideas and perspective are important to us. It's because we seek out a diversity of viewpoints that we're able to make the best decisions.

You'll get firsthand experience with our people, our values, our processes, and our culture as you work on small teams to create products that enhance the quality of life. And as with all other Gore associates, you will be part owner of the company through the associate stock plan.

Degrees

Because Gore is a technology-oriented manufacturer, our opportunities for new graduates are nearly all focused on engineering and operations.

For engineering positions, Gore is primarily seeking new grads with B.S. and/or M.S. degrees in areas such as Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Materials Science. Occasionally, we also seek out graduates with degrees in Electrical Engineering.

For operations positions, Gore is seeking new grads with B.S. and/or M.S. degrees such as Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, and Operations Management.

PhD or Post-Doctoral Candidates

We hire a select number of PhD and post-doctoral candidates each year for science/technology and product manager positions. We look for candidates with degrees such as Bioengineering/Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Statistics, and Materials Science. Although other positions for new graduates are not posted, you can search for these positions online.
