The Ultimate Protection in Extreme Environments

GORE™ High Durability Filter Bags with expanded polytetrafluoroethylene (ePTFE) membranes and backers offer the best protection available in extreme environments. Its all ePTFE membrane and backer resists chemical attack, high humidity, and temperature extremes better than any other membrane or nonmembrane fabric filter.

They are designed to easily handle extreme conditions from high acid gas concentrations (HCI, H2SO4, and HF) to high humidity and temperatures reaching 260 °C.

Enhanced performance of the all ePTFE laminate, along with improvements in GORE™ membrane, make these filters last longer in highly aggressive chemical  processes. Product collection applications traditionally served by PTFE felts, such as municipal waste incinerators, also benefit from better process control, higher yields and better emissions control than felt materials.

Enhanced Scrim Increases Reliability

The woven ePTFE scrim that anchors the ePTFE fibers has an enhanced design that delivers high breaking strength and flexibility. The scrim braces the filter in the face of repeated cleaning pulses and provides greater dimensional stability that lessens fatigue and wear.

Excellent Protection and Efficiency

GORE™ High Durability Filter Bags provide particulate capture to the submicron level. Their excellent cleanability also ensures thorough cake release resulting in high filtration efficiency and low pressure drops. With their all ePTFE membranes and backers they deliver greater performance than other membrane or nonmembrane filters.
