Overview
NewSpace is all about connecting cultures in a different way to access information and monitor our world. Cables are a vital system component in small launch vehicles and satellites, so they must perform reliably without failure to keep us connected all the time. The private sector also needs inexpensive, small-scale cable designs.
By combining extensive materials expertise with decades of proven traditional spaceflight heritage, Gore offers a reliable, cost-effective high data rate solution for NewSpace applications.
SOLID SIGNAL INTEGRITY & FAST CHARGING
GORE USB Cables, 3.1 version offers solid signal integrity to maintain high-speed data transmission up to 10 Gbps ensuring high volumes of content are uploaded and downloaded instantly. They can also quickly and easily charge portable electronic devices. These hybrid cable bundles are ideal for bus electrical interfaces and I/O, and digital video systems.
Because of our cable bundles’ sturdy design, they can resist the severe conditions of launch sequences and earth orbit environments. Like continuous shock and vibration, wide temperatures ranges, harsh chemicals, radiation and more. They’re also low mass, so they require less space in smaller launch vehicles and satellites.
