UNIVERSAL GASKET FOR ALL
STANDARD FLANGES

| Material: |
100% virgin PTFE with a multidirectionally oriented fibrous
structure with densified 100% ePTFE layer. It is free from asbestos
and any other lung damaging components. |
| Temperature Range: |
-240°C to +230°C;
from +230°C up to +270°C please contact your Gore product
specialist |
Chemical Resistance:
|
Resistant to all media in the range pH 0 to 14, except molten
alkali metals and element fluorine, particularly at elevated
temperatures and pressures |
| Physiological Safety: |
Physiologically harmless in prolonged installation at temperatures
up to +260°C according to VDI/VDE guidelines 2480; complies
to the FDA 21 CFR 177.1550 (PTFE) requirements for food |
Stability:

Not subject to ageing and can be stored indefinitely |
Pressure Resistance:

Vacuum to 40 bar (600 psi) depending on operating conditions
and application |
