GORE™ ONE-UP® Pump Diaphragms


Case Histories

(1) Industry-General Chemical

Application: Wilden M8 pump, pumping 30-40% H2SO4, 24° - 27°C, 4 bar air inlet pressure
Previous diaphragm performance: PTFE overlay lasted 1-2 weeks

Performance result: In initial trial, the GORE™ ONE-UP® Pump Diaphragm lasted 17 months, and was still in service. The plant converted to GORE™ ONE-UP® pump diaphragms.

(2)Industry-Petro-chemical

Application: Warren Rupp ¾" pump, pumping polyols, ambient to 93°C, 6 bar air inlet
pressure
Previous diaphragm performance: PTFE overlay lasted 2 weeks
Performance result: In initial trial, the GORE™ ONE-UP® pump diaphragm lasted 29 months, and was still in service.

(3)Industry-Pharmaceutical

Application: Wilden M8 pump, food product and ethylene oxide, 93°C
Previous diaphragm performance: PTFE overlay lasted 2-3 weeks
Performance result: In initial trial, the GORE™ ONE-UP® Pump Diaphragm lasted 3 months, and was still in service.

(4) Industry-Paint & Coatings

Application: Wilden M8 pump, latex, ambient, 5-7 bar air inlet pressure
Previous diaphragm performance: PTFE overlay lasted 1 week to 3 months.
Performance result: In initial trial, the GORE™ ONE-UP® Pump Diaphragm lasted 23 months, and was still in service.
