GORE™ GR sheet gasketing has the benefits
of conventional PTFE sheet without the creep and cold flow commonly
associated with that material. It conforms to rough sealing surfaces,
yet compresses into an extremely tough gasket that seals tight and
is ideal for sealing all types of flanges and fluids.
GORE™ GR Style R Sheet Gasketing is a more rigid version,
with a six-fold increase in bend resistance. This makes gasket positioning
much easier, particularly on large flanges. With Style R, you get
all the benefits of expanded PTFE gasketing with the advantages
of greater rigidity.

Technical Data:
Material: 100% expanded PTFE with multi-directionally
oriented fibrous structure
Temperature Range: -240 °C to 270 °C, to 315 °C
for short periods
Operating Pressure: Vacuum to 40 bar in the temperature
range -240 °C to +230 °C, for operating pressure at higher
temperatures please consult your Gore product specialist.
Chemical Resistance: Resistant to all common chemicals
in 0-14 ph range, except molten alkali metals and elemental flourine.
Stability: GORE™ GR Style R Sheet Gasketing is not subject
to ageing and can be stored indefinitely.
Physiological Safety: Physiologically harmless in prolonged
installation up to +260 °C according to VDI/VDE guideline 2480,
complies to FDA 21 CFR 177.1550
