THE LONGEST LASTING, MOST CHEMICAL-RESISTANT
PERISTALTIC PUMP TUBE
|
| |
Burst
Resistance
The structure of GORE™ High-Resilience Tubing Style 100 CR provides
superior burst resistance compared to conventional unreinforced extruded
tubing. There is less worry about the environmental and safety risk
of unexpected tube rupture in high-pressure filtration, transfer,
and chemical addition operations in the pharmaceutical and specialty
chemical industries. |

|
Ideal
tubing for aggressive chemicals
With excellent chemical
resistance, GORE™ High-Resilience Tubing Style 100 CR handles nearly all aggressive chemicals, including organic solvents such as methyl, ethyl, ketone, toluene, and acetone. For years, users
have known that peristaltic pumps provide a
unique combination of benefits: superior metering
accuracy and low maintenance. Users can now
realize these benefits in solvent-based
processing applications.
GORE™ High-Resilience Tubing Style 100 CR far outlasts other fluoroelastomer
tubing when pumping aggressive chemicals (600 RPM, 3mm tube bore).

 |
Lowest
solvent swell
Manufacturers recommend tubes that have less than 10%
volume swell for acceptable operation in peristaltic pumps in chemical
service. While other fluoroelastomer tubing will swell over 300%
when subjected to solvents, ASTM D471-95 immersion tests show that
these pump tubes experience negligible swelling in a wide range
of solvents.
Swelling tests clearly show that GORE™ High-Resilience Tubing Style 100 CR is superior to other fluoroelastomer tubing (all immersion
tests performed at room temperature for 170 hours).

High purity reduces contamination
GORE™ High-Resilience Tubing Style 100 CR is among the cleanest available
because they it is free from plasticizers, acid acceptors, and other
processing aids found in competitive products.
