The process of freeze-drying or lyophilization can be time consuming, cumbersome and expensive. GORE™ LYOGUARD® Freeze-Drying Products have been designed to help streamline the process and provide greater levels of operational efficiency during lyophilization.

Realize the benefits of GORE™ LYOGUARD® Freeze-Drying Products:

  • Reduce cleaning and cleaning validation
  • Reduce the risk of product contamination and cross-contamination
  • Improve product sterility assurance
  • Enhance worker safety
  • Increase yields by reducing product loss due to fly-out
  • Optimize operations throughput by enabling shorter cycles

Lyoguard Container
GORE™ LYOGUARD® Freeze-Drying Containers
Completely enclosed lyophilization container suited for research studies, lyophilization cycle development and scale-up studies. Microporous ePTFE membrane is incorporated into a removable screw-top. The ePTFE Membrane protects the product from cross-contamination while allowing for the free exchange of airflow.

Lyoguard Tray
GORE™ LYOGUARD® Freeze-Drying Trays
Single-use, autoclavable lyophilization product for bulk freeze-drying applications. The tray’s surface is chemically inert and biocompatible, and its flexible, thin-film bottom closely conforms to dryer shelves for efficient and uniform heat transfer.

Lyoguard Vial Isolator
GORE™ LYOGUARD® Vial Isolator
Single-use devices that use proven GORE™ LYOGUARD® Freeze-Drying Membrane Technology to protect the contents of vials throughout the freeze-drying process. They enable efficient freeze-drying using standard vials and stoppers while containing and protecting valuable product during formulation process development through early-phase clinical trials.
