Y-Value
GORE™ TriGuard® Gaskets have the lowest Y value of any PTFE-based gasket. With a lower Y-Value, TriGuard® Gaskets seal more tightly at lower bolt loads than other ePTFEs.

Test results: ASTM F-37 sealability testing
(Y-Value @ 30 psi internal pressure, 1/8 in. thickness.)
Resistance to Diffusion
Processors of aggressive chemicals must meet stringent requirements for leakage. The bubble test shows that GORE™ TriGuard® Gaskets seal tightly at the low loads required in fragile flange applications.
