GORE™ SKYFLEX® Aircraft Sealant Case Study: E-6 Tacamo and E-3 AWACS

Technical order E-6 IPT allows the use of GORE™ SKYFLEX® Aircraft Sealant to seal approximately 91 panels on these aircraft. These panels include upper and lower wing access panels, fuselage exterior panels and doors, horizontal stabilizer and elevator access panels, vertical fin and rudder access panels, wing pod access panels, and landing lights. Use for the tail cone is awaiting approval. Access panels require SKYFLEX part numbers GUA1017-1 and GSC-21-81397-00. The irregular gap spacing on the landing light requires SKYFLEX part number G0-D0-0069-1.*
