The GORE™ Aseptic Sampling Device is a fully disposable, completely assembled system for biopharmaceutical fluid sampling. Based on the critical requirements identified by end users, Gore has designed and patented a novel device that provides a simple, cost-effective solution for aseptic fluid sampling.

Delivered as a pre-assembled, sterile, closed system, and incorporating an intuitive lever valve actuation, the GORE™ Aseptic Sampling Device is easy to use and maximizes operator efficiency.

No Assembly Required

The GORE™ Aseptic Sampling Device comes ready to use. Just remove the two layers of protective packaging and attach the pre-sterilized assembly to the vessel port prior to your CIP and/or SIP processes. USP Class VI materials and gamma sterilization provide purity assurance while eliminating autoclaving and pre-sterilization steps. The customizable, ready-to-use design means that labor, storage, validation time and contamination risk are minimized.

Increased Operator and Process Safety

The GORE™ Aseptic Sampling Device has been engineered with hollow transport valves and redundant seals, not needles and septums. No needles means less risk for workers and no protrusion into the batch process. Redundant seals provide added assurance of batch and sample integrity. The novel, tubular fluid delivery paths permit high flow rates for quick sampling and low fluid shear.

Because it maintains its closed-system integrity, the GORE™ Aseptic Sampling Device stays aseptic from the beginning of the sampling operation until device disposal, protecting your product and your people.

A Modular System to Accommodate Your Unique Sampling Requirements

Devices are available as 1-shot or 5-shot configurations, and are sized to fit most standard vessel ports. In addition, Gore offers a full range of modular peripherals for the devices, including pre-attached gaskets, various collection container options and choice of platinum-cured silicone or thermoplastic tubing.

A full scope of biological challenge test data is available upon request for both the devices and aseptic separation peripherals.
