GORE™ Microminiature Round Cable
When size and electrical integrity are critical, GORE™ Microminiature Round Cable provides the smallest, most durable cable solution.
A variety of medical devices can benefit from this solution including electrophysiology products and small diameter flexible endoscopes where real estate is at a premium and reliability is paramount. Through the use of GORE™ High Strength Toughened Fluoropolymer material (HSTF) and our Low Dielectric Constant Expanded PTFE (ePTFE), GORE™ Microminiature Round Cable maintains its performance through device flexure, abrasion during routing or tracking, and sterilization.
HSTF Produces Superior Mechanical and Electrical Properties
GORE™ HSTF is an advanced biocompatible dielectric material that produces superior mechanical and electrical properties. GORE™ HSTF offers increased scrape abrasion resistance, cut-through resistance, and improved dielectric breakdown in ultra-thin profiles. A precise pinhole free wall of HSTF, as thin as 0.0003” (0.008 mm), can be applied over conductors as small as 50 AWG wire.

Low Dielectric Constant ePTFE
GORE™ ePTFE is an advanced, low dielectric constant material produced by Gore scientists and engineers through careful manipulation of its microstructure. Our extensive understanding of fluoropolymer processing enables us to address the needs of the most demanding electrical and mechanical requirements. Our cables offer up to 49% lower attenuation or outer diameter reductions up to 47% while remaining mechanically robust during use.
