Gore's medical tubing offerings include GORE™ SIL-KORE™ tubing and wall reinforced medical tubing. GORE™ SIL-KORE™ Tubing provides greater durability and comfort compared to conventional silicone. This autoclavable material withstands a greater number of autoclave cycles than most other products. GORE™ SIL-KORE™ material has less than half the surface friction of silicone and offers better retention of key mechanical properties - strength, flexibility, and longevity. Wall reinforced medical tubing technologies include spiral wrap wire, nylon monofilament braiding, and high-pressure braided polyurethane tubing.

GORE™ SIL-KORE Tubing: GORE™ SIL-KORE™ Tubing provides superior lubricity, increased tensile strength, torsion deformation resistance, and multi-modality sterilization. This innovative product is a unique patented fluoropolymer silicone composite technology that optimizes the benefits of silicone and PTFE.

Wall Reinforced Medical Tubing: Our wall reinforced tubing technology works especially well when your device specifications call for tubing that is kink resistant, requires an increased bend radius or high pressure flow rates which must perform beyond the norm.
