GORE™ SIL-KORE™ Tubing and Jacketing Material
Gore's medical tubing offerings include GORE™ SIL-KORE™ tubing and wall reinforced medical tubing. GORE™ SIL-KORE™ Tubing and Jacketing Material provides greater durability and comfort compared to conventional silicone. This autoclavable material withstands a greater number of autoclave cycles than most other products. GORE™ SIL-KORE™ material has less than half the surface friction of silicone and offers better retention of key mechanical properties - strength, flexibility, and longevity. Wall reinforced medical tubing technologies include spiral wrap wire, nylon monofilament braiding, and high-pressure braided polyurethane tubing.
