The GORE™ Adsorbent Recirculation Filter provides both chemical-vapor and particle removal in one compact, cost effective package. The filter combines electrostatic media optimized to provide the highest particle clean-up performance with activated carbon to adsorb harmful chemical vapors and protect critical drive components. Placed in the active recirculating air stream, the GORE™ Adsorbent Recirculation Filter offers the fastest removal-rate of vapor and particle contamination and protects against spike contamination.

The Science Behind the Solution

The electrostatic media is composed of a mass of charged fibers. These fibers are uniquely engineered to capture both small charged particles as they are deflected by the electric field, and uncharged or large particles by induced charging and impacting the fiber mass. Hard drive components are also protected through the use of activated carbon which adsorbs harmful chemicals.
