GORE™ Adsorbent Assembley

The GORE™ Adsorbent Assembly is a peel-and-stick, passive adsorbent part that controls a combination of moisture, acid gasses and organic vapors. The assembly contains adsorbent material interspersed within the porous structure of a membrane; this adsorbent membrane is covered by ultraclean ePTFE membrane to prevent shedding.

The Science Behind the Solution

GORE™ Adsorbent Assemblies are encased in highly porous expanded polytetrafluoroethylene (ePTFE). As a unique material that offers extremely clean, durable and inert packaging, ePTFE provides an inert binder to hold the adsorbent in the GORE™ Adsorbent Assembly construction. The scaffold diffuses vapors and gasses while providing a rigid form to hold the adsorbent or desiccant. The GORE™ Adsorbent Assembly also utilizes optimized activated carbon.
