This document describes the ETV Joint Verification Statement for Baghouse Filtration Products.
Gore’s laminate emissions were so low that they exceeded the detection limits of the test equipment (<0.0000167g/dscm - well below all regulatory requirements.) This applied to all particle sizes, even the critical PM 2.5 ones.
Gore laminate material exhibited much lower residual pressure drops than all other materials tested. Gore laminates clean more effectively than others and directly contribute to process productivity.
GORE laminate had the lowest number of required cleaning cycles over the test period. This means that our filters should last longer and use less energy.
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has created the Environmental TechnologyVerification (ETV) Program to facilitate the deployment of innovative or improved environmental technologies through performance verification and dissemination of information. The goal of the ETV Program is to further environmental protection by accelerating the acceptance and use of improved and cost-effective technologies.
All evaluations are conducted in accordance with rigorous quality assurance protocols to ensure that data of known and adequate quality are generated and that the results are defensible.
Information on the performance characteristics of GORE L3650 laminate can be found at www.epa.gov/etv/vt-apc.html#bfp, or call Gore at 1-800-638-5300 to obtain a copy of the ETV verification report. Use of the ETV Name or Logo does not imply approval or certification of this product, nor does it make any explicit or implied warrantees or guarantees as to product performance.
