Three Lime Kilns
Lime Kiln
The plant operates three lime kilns which originally had used conventional fiberglass fabric bags to collect the dust from the lime kiln. Due to emission rate problems and lower service of bag life, a decision was made to replace the conventional fiberglass bags with GORE® membrane/acid resistant fiberglass fabric (10 oz/yd2) filter bags in the No. 3 kiln system.
