Grinding of PVC
Production process was limited by low airflow of existing filter bags. Two 20 ton grinders could have been set up to feed into a single baghouse, but the existing bags could not handle the extra airflow.
GORE™ High Flow Polyester Filter Bags were installed and system settings were optimized for use with two grinders. Productivity was improved and system is still reliably running after over 3 years installation.
Process was made more efficient by running both grinders into a single baghouse with possible cost savings over time.
