The outstanding results achieved are due to the type of polymer employed and the specific method of application, which allows the coating thickness to reach 2 mm. The main benefits are a pore-free coating with universal chemical resistance (0-14pH) operating temperature range of - 190º C to 260º C and full vacuum capability.
The GORE® FLUOROSHIELD® Coating Process
The outstanding results achieved with GORE® FLUOROSHIELD® Coating is due to the type of polymer employed and the specific method of application. The required coating thickness results by building up successive layers of polymer and baking the part after each coat. In this way a pore-free coating, which passes a 10 kV spark test, is achieved.
