GORE™ High Strength Toughened Fluoropolymer Insulation provides the chemical, electrical and thermal resistance of PTFE with vastly improved mechanical performance. GORE™ High Strength Toughened Fluoropolymer Wire is available in many forms, including single, twisted pair, and controlled-impedance twisted pair. Like most fluoropolymer insulations, GORE™ High Strength Toughened Fluoropolymer extends operating temperatures to 260°C.

GORE™ MIL-W-81822/1A Hook-up Wire is designed to meet or exceed specification requirements. The product line extends beyond the mil standard and includes a broad range of conductors and gauge sizes, both solid and stranded. Because of its unusually high tensile modulus and tensile strength, GORE™ MIL-W-81822/1A Insulation makes an important contribution to the tensile strength and fatigue life of an insulated wire, particularly small wires.

Gore manufactures a variety of standard and custom PTFE insulated wire for any hook-up application. Standard products meet popular military standards. Custom versions can meet mil specifications while offering reduced diameter and weight. These high performance insulated wires are especially suited for demanding applications such as mil/aero, space, and tough industrial environments.
