GORE™ Hand-Formable Cable Assemblies are an economical alternative to semi-rigid cables. They are easy to bend, form, and install, while maintaining excellent performance up to 18 GHz. Design and integration is greatly simplified eliminating the need for costly 3-D drawings and bending machines. With hand-formable cable assemblies, Gore provides a full portfolio of products for all your interconnect and testing requirements. Assemblies are RoHS compliant. Typical applications include test set-ups, internal cabling, switch matrix connections, base stations, and antenna systems.

Mechanical Characteristics

The assemblies are designed to be robust, but are easy to use. They can be shaped by hand without using any tools.  Once an assembly is bent into position it maintains that shape and does not springback. GORE™ Hand-Formable Assemblies can be reshaped and bent multiple times; they are not recommended for repeated flexing.
