GORE® Trackless High Flex Cables allow automated equipment manufacturers to eliminate cable track. By incorporating Gore trackless cable many of the problems associated with cable track, such as particulation, vibration, size and weight, are eliminated. These cables also provide increased positioning accuracy, faster speeds, quieter motion, consistent installation, simpler cable management, and cleaner operation.
Gore’s offering includes the components necessary to drive and control your motion system. GORE® Trackless High Flex Cable bundles electrical and pneumatic lines into one low profile, self-supporting package for simple cable management. Up to three cables can be stacked together reducing the overall footprint. These cables comes prepped and ready for termination with standard clamps that mount right onto your platform.
This short video demonstrates the self-supported cable that doesn't require a cable chain or cable track.
View the DemoGore’s on-line design tool provides system designers with step-by-step instructions to configure GORE® High Flex Flat Cable, GORE® High Flex Round Cable, or GORE® Trackless High Flex Cable from standard components. The design process is quick and easy. Just enter your application parameters, select your cable cores from the menu of offerings, choose a configuration, place cores within your cable configuration, and submit the specification to Gore.

Flex life is dependent upon a variety of application conditions including: acceleration, speed, stroke length, bend radius, and cable mass. GORE® Trackless High Flex Cable has surpassed flex life testing of more than 20 million cycles.
When cables move, flex, and rub against cable chains, the cable jackets can shed particles. In addition, the materials used in constructing cables and assemblies can outgas and contaminate in a cleanroom. GORE® High Flex Flat Cables provide a cost effective solution for cleanroom cable systems and are certified for ISO Class 1 Cleanrooms and low pressure vacuum environments.
