GORE® Aerospace Fiber Optic Cable offers an exceptional balance of properties and is the choice of engineers when they need additional ruggedness but do not want to sacrifice size or weight. Like the 1.2 mm simplex cable, the 1.8 mm simplex cable has been proven in major aerospace programs and features the expanded PTFE buffer, extruded jackets, and a high strength braid. The 1.8 mm design is compatible with standard aerospace connectors including Deutsch MC5, Radiall Luxcis, and MIL-T-29504 contacts.
