GORE™ Quadrax High Speed Interconnects offer guaranteed performance against customer specification. The assemblies are impedance matched, improving the signal fidelity from box-to-box. Assemblies are compatible with MIL-DTL-38999. Custom designs utilizing size 8 and size 12 contacts within Sub-D (DB-9) and Micro-D connectors are also available. Because of the small size of the size 8 and size 12 contacts, pin stubbing, or the bending of pins, is a frequent problem. Gore has helped eliminate this problem by using a twin guide rail system to enable superior contact alignment. This feature eliminates tolerance and positioning issues traditionally associated with scaling down military connectors to improve density.
Interconnect design can accommodate either single or double shield (360°). Size 8 Quadrax Interconnect can accommodate wire sizes ranging from AWG 22 to AWG 26 quad cable. Size 12 Quadrax Interconnect can accommodate wire sizes ranging from AWG 28 to AWG 30 quad cable.
