On-Board Jumper Cables

GORE™ On-Board Jumper Cables provide a high-speed, impedance-controlled interconnect with the lowest loss and the smallest diameter possible. Expanded PTFE dielectric delivers 85 percent propagation velocity. The assembly is a cost-effective alternative to adding extra shielding layers to the PC board, with 0.100 in. pitch connectors suitable for standard PC board termination.

Add higher performance, one line at a time

GORE On-Board Jumper Cables are ideal when the signal is too critical to go directly on the PC board. Thru-holes and vias in the board path are points of potential noise. GORE On-Board Jumper Cables provide noise immunity by transmitting signals off-board, limiting the degrading effects of impedance mismatch and signal path discontinuities.

To further control impedance and minimize noise and crosstalk, the cable shield extends as closely as possible to the board connectors.

GORE On-Board Jumper Cables are available in a variety of impedances in a two-position coaxial or three-position differential package. Thru-hole mounting and side-to-side stackable connectors are standard.
