Millipacs 1™/Metral™ Cable Assemblies
 GORE™ EYE-OPENER® Millipacs 1/Metral Cable Assemblies make it feasible to cable high-data-rate signals directly to the backplane pins. These assemblies transmit high-data-rate signals farther and/or pack more signals into a smaller space with exceptional fidelity and reliability.

Fully compatible with IEC 1076-4-102-compliant backplane connectors such as FCI Millipacs 1, Metral, and Futurebus + type cable shrouds

Eliminates the need for costly separate I/O cable connectors on the backplane

Eliminates associated backplane connection circuitry, and this direct path reduces cross talk, impedance discontinuities, and signal attenuation

Available in multiples of six using either 4x1 or 5x1 pinouts

Polarization using offset wafers

Retention using detent latch bumps

Available in differential and/or coaxial cable configurations
