GORE® GbX® Assemblies
GORE® GbX® Assemblies allow high data rate signals to be transmitted over greater distances with exceptional fidelity and reliability. As an extension to GORE’s well established 2mm product family, this cable assembly has been optimized to transmit signals up to ten Gigabits per second. GORE® GbX® Assembly product was developed in conjunction with Teradyne Connection Systems and is plug compatible with all licensed suppliers of GbX connectors.
The GbX® connector technology provides high performance in both vertical and horizontal routing patterns making it an ideal solution for star or mesh backplane topography. Impedance control and cross-talk protection is achieved by careful control of shielding geometry and material selection. The result is a high density cable assembly that delivers excellent signal integrity.
GORE® GbX® Assemblies will come in a variety of configurations to support the different versions of GbX backplane connectors, as they become available. These assemblies can be further customized for pin out, cable type, and latching features to suit the application.
