To fulfill the interconnect needs of high-speed applications like Infiniband quad-data-rate (QDR) and 40-Gb/s Ethernet (GbE), many cable manufacturers have been pushing quad-small-form-factor-pluggable (QSFP) copper cables to new levels of performance.
