W. L. Gore & Associates Earns Great Place to Work Award

Company’s Hiring Practices Recognized

Newark, DE (April 8, 2008) – W. L. Gore & Associates recently earned a Great Place to Work Award, an honor granted annually by the Great Place to Work Institute to five U.S. companies with exemplary and distinctive workplace practices. Gore was specifically recognized for its exceptional recruiting methods, which place a strong emphasis on cultural fit assessment.

Known for its innovative business practices and non-hierarchical management structure, Gore works diligently to recruit associates who will thrive within its unique work environment. Company recruiting leader Barbara Pizzala said it’s an honor to be recognized by the Great Place to Work Institute for these efforts.
