Elkton, MD (September 15, 2010) - W. L. Gore & Associates, Inc. (Gore) is pleased to announce that its Survey Products Group laboratory has received recognition as an accredited DoD ELAP Laboratory by the American Association for Laboratory Accreditation (A2LA). The Gore laboratory has successfully completed the evaluation based on ISO/IEC 17025:2005, the 2003 NELAC Chapter 5 Standard, and the requirements of the Department of Defense Environmental Laboratory Accreditation Program (DoD ELAP), version 4.1. The Gore lab is now accredited to perform its modified 8620 method for the analysis of the GORE® Module following the sampling of soil gas, sediment, water or air.

Established in 1992, Gore’s Survey Products Group provides expert geochemical imaging services for petroleum exploration, minerals exploration and environmental investigations.
