Gore Licenses E-SONG for SMT Conductive Gaskets in Korea and Japan
Seoul, South Korea (May 9, 2012) – W. L. Gore & Associates Inc. (Gore) announces that it has entered into a licensing agreement with E-SONG, a Korean company, for the production and sale of conductive gasket assemblies that are applied using SMT processes. The license covers the territories of Korea and Japan under Gore's Korean patent number 0680015 and Gore's Japan patent number 4249391. At the time of this press release, E-SONG is the only authorized licensee under these Gore patents.
Gore remains focused on developing and supplying unique EMI shielding and grounding products that deliver reliable high performance while enabling customers to have more effective and flexible packaging.
