REACH (Registration, Evaluation and Authorization of Chemicals)

REACH is the EU Regulation on chemicals and their safe use (EC 1907/2006). It deals with the Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemical substances. The new law entered into force on 1 June 2007.

We are pleased to confirm that Gore is progressing with the registration process and we will complete our activities over the next few years.

Our new product development team is working to ensure that we continue to identify and track new substances that are being imported into and manufactured by Gore in Europe. This will ensure that our products remain in compliance now and in the future.

We are aware of our obligation under Article 33 of REACH. We aim to provide recipients of our products with information regarding substances on the Candidate List present in our products at levels above 0.1%.

We are confident that REACH will not cause any significant interruption in our supply chain nor impair our ability to produce and deliver our high quality products.
