Perhaps best known for its consumer products like GORE-TEX® fabric and ELIXIR® guitar strings, Gore is a leading manufacturer of thousands of advanced technology products for the electronics, industrial, fabrics, and medical markets. The company is headquartered in Newark, Delaware, and has approximately 9,000 employees, called associates, located in 30 countries worldwide, with manufacturing facilities in the United States, Germany, Scotland, Japan, and China, and sales offices around the world.

Asia Pacific

Australia: The Gore sales team based in Sydney covers New Zealand and Australia, marketing and selling products from our Medical, Fabrics, Electronic and Industrial Product Divisions.
Hong Kong: Gore's presence in Hong Kong, a Special Administrative Region of China, supports the full portfolio of Gore products, in addition to playing a unique role in logistics and service for fabrics customers.
India: Applications for industrial and medical products are developed by the India-based Gore team.
Japan: Japan Gore-Tex Inc. (JGI), a wholly owned Gore subsidiary, functions as the operational base of the Gore group in Japan. JGI is engaged in the development, manufacturing, and sales of diversified GORE-TEX® products in the industrial, fabrics, and medical fields.
Korea: Gore associates in Korea market and sell products from our Electronic, Industrial, Medical, and Fabrics Products Divisions.
Mainland China:
- Gore manufactures fabrics in a facility in Shenzhen. The Shenzhen facility is also licensed to make certain electronic products.
- A Gore joint venture company in Shanghai, Shanghai Bag Filtration Equipment Co., Ltd. manufactures filtration products.
- Gore Filtration Products (Shanghai) Co. Ltd., which has offices in Shanghai and Beijing, is licensed to make and sell filtration and sealants products.
- Gore Industrial Products (Shanghai) Trade Co. Ltd. distributes in China fabrics, industrial and electronic products that are made outside China.
- A Representative Office in Shanghai supports marketing and service activities for Gore products.
Malaysia: Gore products are sold in Malaysia through distributors.
Singapore: Gore associates in Singapore market and sell products from our Electronic, Industrial, Medical, and Fabrics Products Divisions.
Taiwan: Gore associates in Taipei, Taiwan market and sell products from our Electronic, Industrial, Medical, and Fabrics Products Divisions.

Europe

Austria: Gore associates in Salzberg, Austria market and sell products from our Electronic, Industrial, Medical, and Fabrics Products Divisions.
France: Bercy, south of Paris, is the location of a Gore office dedicated to marketing the full range of Gore products.
Germany: Gore plants are clustered in Putzbrunn and Feldkirchen-Westerham, near Munich, and Pleinfeld, which is close to Nuernberg. The Pleinfeld team focuses on electronic interconnect products. Associates in Putzbrunn and nearby Feldkirchen-Westerham produce fabrics, membranes, industrial sealants, filtration products, and vents. Medical product sales are centered in Putzbrunn. Gore GmbH also supports markets throughout the Middle East, Central Europe, Eastern Europe, and Africa.
Greece: Gore associates in Greece market and sell products from our Electronic, Industrial, Medical, and Fabrics Products Divisions.
Italy: Gore's offices in Italy market and sell products from our Electronic, Industrial, Medical and Fabrics Products Divisions.
The Netherlands: Gore associates in The Netherlands market and sell products from our Electronic, Industrial, Medical, and Fabrics Products Divisions.
Poland: Gore associates in Warsaw, Poland market and sell products from our Electronic, Industrial, Medical, and Fabrics Products Divisions.
Russia: Gore associates in Moscow, Russia market and sell products from our Electronic, Industrial, Medical, and Fabrics Products Divisions.
Spain: Gore associates in Barcelona, Spain market and sell products from our Electronic, Industrial, Medical, and Fabrics Products Divisions.
Sweden: The Gore Scandinavian sales office is based in Mölndal, south of Gothenburg. Sales and marketing activities in Denmark, Norway, Finland, Iceland, and Sweden are coordinated from this site.
United Kingdom: Gore facilities in Scotland produce electronic interconnects in Dundee. Two plants in Livingston are dedicated to fabrics and filtration products and medical sales.

Central America

Mexico: The sales office in Monterrey supports our industrial products in Mexico and Central America.

North America

Arizona: Flagstaff is the hub of Gore's medical products division, the site of development and manufacturing of implantable medical devices.
California: Sunnyvale is the location of a new venture dedicated to endovascular medical devices.
Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania: Gore's "eastern cluster" is comprised of manufacturing plants clustered in and around the Delaware Valley. Located here are plants for electronic interconnects, fabric laminates, industrial sealants, filtration media, membrane technologies, and polymer processing, as well as the firm's corporate offices.

South America

Argentina: The sales operation in Argentina represents our fabrics, industrial, and medical products.
Brazil: Sao Paulo is the headquarters for many of our South American operations, supporting business opportunities in Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Peru, Venezuela, and other countries in the region. The sales office in Brazil represents our electronics, fabrics, industrial, and medical products.
