Gore supports the 1st WINDSTOPPER® Trailrun Worldmasters


The event for all ambitious trail, marathon, mountain, triathlon and long-distance runners.

The first “WINDSTOPPER® Trailrun Worldmasters” will take place from 6 to 8 November 2009 in Dortmund. Over the three days, the athletes will be faced with a very special running challenge, they must accomplish 54 kilometres at an altitude of more than 1000 metres.

In this respect, the target groups are runners from completely different disciplines: mountain runners can measure themselves against marathon runners, trail runners against light athletes, sprinters against ultra-runners and leisure-time runners will be close on the heels of the experts.

Given the frequently changing weather conditions and level of activity, the advantages of wearing WINDSTOPPER® clothing will be fully appreciated. The highly breathable and windtight jackets, sleeveless jackets, pants and shirts will be supplied by the most well-known manufacturers of running clothes such as Asics, Adidas, Craft, Puma, Salomon or GORE RUNNING WEAR™.

As an incentive, there will be prize money to the value of Euro 20,000.
