Our locations in Europe

Gore is an international company with several locations globally. In Europe we have locations with production in the UK and Germany and bigger sales offices in France, Italy, Netherlands, Spain and Sweden. Beyond that we have sales offices in Abu Dhabi, Austria, Greece, Poland and Turkey.

Germany

Around 1.200 associates from more than 20 nations are responsible for the entire Gore product portfolio at three locations in South Germany: in Pleinfeld, Putzbrunn, and Feldkirchen-Westerham: electronics, industrial products, medical products and functional textiles. The Gore GmbH also caters to Switzerland, Eastern Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Our biggest German location is Putzbrunn, where associates work in production, development, sales and service in four plants. Here Gore produces membranes, fabrics, filters and sealants for a multitude of applications as well as functional textiles.

In Feldkirchen-Westerham, ca. 50 km south of Munich, associates take care of sales, marketing and production of functional textiles for end-users. Gore’s activities as the Europe-wide leader in GORE BIKE WEAR™ und GORE RUNNING™ are also centered at the Feldkirchen-Westerham plant.

Our location in Pleinfeld, ca. 50 km south of Nuremberg has two plants, which are center of production and sales for electronic products.

France

Our sales offices are located in Paris-Bercy from where around 60 associates deal with customers in France and the French speaking areas of Belgium, Switzerland and North Africa. They sell the entire product portfolio across this region.

United Kingdom of Great Britain & Northern Ireland 

Gore UK has three manufacturing sites in Livingston and in Dundee with approximately 470 associates. From these two Scottish locations Gore sells its entire product portfolio across the UK and Ireland: electronics, industrial products, medical products and fabrics.

Italy 

W. L. Gore & Associati S.r.l. is located in Verona. Around 80 associates conduct the company's sales and marketing operations for Gore's entire product range, including signal transmission cables and assemblies; functional fabrics, medical implants; and membrane, filter and sealant technologies for a wealth of different applications.

Netherlands 

In our sales office in Tillburg around 30 associates sell electronic, industrial, medical and functional textile products. Core elements which have contributed to the success of the Gore's Benelux team are close, long-term customer relationships and a clear focus on the economic integration of the three Benelux countries.

Sweden 

Gore's sales and marketing activities in Northern Europe, covering Denmark, Norway, Finland, Iceland and Sweden, are coordinated by W. L. Gore & Associates Scandinavia AB. The company is based in Mölndal, south of Goetheborg, from where about 45 associates sell Gore's entire product portfolio: electronics, industrial products, medical products and functional textiles. Northern Europe, with its 25 million inhabitants and five languages and currencies, is traditionally an important market for Gore – not least because of its many globally operating customers.

Spain 

W. L. Gore & Associados, S.L ,  located in Sant Joan Despi/Barcelona, is responsible for the Iberian markets. A part of the 80 associates is located in our sales office, others work in home offices across the whole Peninsula, dealing with products from all our divisions. Above that the European Customer Service Center of our Medical Division  is also located in Barcelona and supports doctors and hospitals all over Europe.
